The following are general terms and conditions for all Performance One^® travel suppliers and merchants; and use of the Travel by Design program. Please review these terms and conditions prior to using your card. Please refer to individual merchant pages for specific terms and conditions for that supplier. 

Card
The Terms and Conditions for use of the Performance One^® Award MasterCard^® are printed on the back of the carrier that arrived with your card.  A printable version of the Cardholder Agreement is also available. Merchants
Some merchants may have formed business alliances with other companies which may be advertised on an authorized merchant's Web site, catalog, or through signage in their establishment. Your Performance One^® Award MasterCard^® may only be used at establishments listed in your Performance One program collateral materials, including updated Shopping Guides, Web sites, and current promotional materials. Your award card may not be used at a merchant's alliance establishment and in all likelihood will be declined.

Penalties will apply to any misuse of your card at unauthorized merchants and/or travel suppliers.

Accommodations
Use a personal credit card (not your Award card) to guarantee reservations and to secure your room at check-in. The Award card should be used only at checkout for payment due. Your Award card may not be used toward the purchase of hotel gift certificates.

Your Award card may be used only at domestic properties within the United States unless indicated otherwise.

Cruises/Vacation Packages
Make reservations directly with each participating supplier using the telephone number provided. If you do not have enough dollars on your Award card to pay for your package, you may supplement with a personal credit card. Most credit cards are accepted. For cruises, your Award card can be used for prepayment of cruise packages only. Shipboard credit, purchases while on board the ship, and excursions do not apply. For vacation packages, your Award card can be used for prepayment of land or land/air packages only. You cannot use your Award card once your trip has commenced.

All tickets/documents must be mailed directly to the cardholder's address.

Travel by Design
In connection with all travel awards, ITAGroup, Performance One, Travel by Design and their Travel Concierge will act as agents for the hotels, transportation companies, and other suppliers we use on your behalf; therefore, we do not control them. We are not responsible for any negligence, inconveniences, changes, cancellations, accidents, losses, or delays caused by them or their people. This also includes baggage and other personal property. During travel, you may have the opportunity to participate in various optional activities such as water sports, contests, excursions and side trips. ITAGroup, Performance One, Travel by Design and their Travel Concierge shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, expense, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity arising out of, or relating to, such participation.

Reservations must be made through Travel by Design or the direct suppliers listed in this Shopping Guide only. Your Award card cannot be used with reservations made through a travel agency, travel agent or any other travel intermediary. Your Award card can be used for rates or promotions that are publicly advertised or available to the general public. Corporate, group, negotiated or travel industry discounted rates are not applicable.

Web sites listed for most travel suppliers are for information only. E-commerce is not recommended due to non-acceptance of multiple forms of payment. Penalties will apply to any misuse of your card at unauthorized merchants and/or travel suppliers.
